Flip Car

Probably the most memorable vehicle from the Fast 6 film, the iconic flip car that sent other cars flying on the streets of London. For this car we were tasked with making some padding for the metal tubing. This was to give the stunt driver a little cushioning without compromising the look of it being a tactical vehicle. The vinyl used was metallic-looking in order to sell the illusion.

Nissan R35 GTR

This Nissan R35 GTR next, which was used in the closing scene in Fast 5 and the opening scene in Fast 6. We were asked to connolise the drivers and passengers seats as they were full red leather seats, but the crew desired a more subtle look, so asked us to paint them mostly black, leaving only some red accents.

BMW M5

A more substantial amount of trimming required for this job. Not one BMW 5 series, or two, but five cars were dressed up as M5s for a big chase sequence in London. As you can tell from the photo, it resulted in lots of damage...Hollywood!

Our involvement was to make room in the interior for safety equipment like roll hoops and then to retrim the now modified interior; this included seats, door cards and roof linings on all three.

Ford Mustang & Lucra LC470

The Ford Mustang featured in fast 6 is quite a famous car before being on the big screen, winning Best in Show at SEMA 2010. Nicknamed "Anvil", this car is absolutely incredible, still being featured today with it's iconic red interior. For the film, two replicas were made for all of the stunts, including the memorable scene where a tank drives over it. We was tasked with recreating the interior of the "real" one for the two stunt vehicles, including a seat cover suite for none other than stunt driver Ben Collins, aka The Stig.

The Lucra LC470 required a set of seats retrimming, which unfortunately didn't make the cut for the film. It is in two shots, one at the car auction, and second in the background when the vehicles are being delivered.

Mercedes-Benz G Wagon

The infamous runway scene from fast 6 features another d:class retrimmed vehicle. The character, Owen Shaw, drives a Mercedes-Benz into the back of the huge airplane, where Dom has a fight with Owen inside of the G Wagon. It is also featured in the background during the iconic fight scene as shown here. We retrimmed two G Wagons to match the "hero car", as the two vehicles we received had grey interiors and needed to be black.

We had the privilege of contributing to James Bond: No Time To Die, another major production we’re proud to have been involved with.

Our team was tasked with a unique challenge — retrimming and “hiding” a roll cage inside a Toyota Land Cruiser. This required careful modification of the interior and seats to accommodate the safety equipment, followed by retrimming the components in a range of black materials to seamlessly match the factory finish.

The production included a “Hero” vehicle, typically used for interior shots, along with multiple stunt cars. We worked on the two stunt Land Cruisers used in the high-intensity chase sequence, where Bond, Madeleine Swann, and Mathilde are pursued by Land Rovers, motorbikes, and even a helicopter.

This Bond film marked Daniel Craig’s final appearance as the iconic 007, and we’re proud to have played a small part in such an incredible production.
